“Baby Oral Health Promotion Clinic” an extension clinic of the Dept of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry at Dept of Pediatrics, JSS Hospital, is providing preventive and interceptive oral health care for infants and young children since its inception in 2014. An orientation and awareness program was conducted on 10.11.22 for Interns 2022-23 batch of JSS Dental College and Hospital, from Baby Oral Health Promotion Clinic. Dr. Nandlal B Professor & Head, of Dept of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry, inaugurated the program, and Dr. Indira MD, coordinator of the Baby Oral Health Promotion Clinic provided information on the importance of baby oral health care and inception of Baby Oral Health Promotion Clinic to all the interns. A pre and post-survey was conducted to assess the knowledge of interns on baby oral health care.
