Installation of Rotaract Club of JSS College of Pharmacy, Ooty under the aegis of Rotary Club of Nilgiris West

The installation ceremony of the Rotaract Club of JSS College of Pharmacy, Ooty was successfully held today (30.09.2022) in the Seminar hall of our institution.

The office bearers and the Rotarians of the sponsoring club, 'Rotary Nilgiris West' namely Rtn. Nirmala, President; Rtn. Anandhi, Secretary; Ranjith, Treasurer; Rtn Godwin, Director Youth Services; PP Rtn. Geetha Srinivasan; Rtn. Rtn. Bhojan; Rtn. KP Arun, Rotaract Chair; Rtn. S Ponnusankar Interact Chair participated in the ceremony and felicitated the new team for a successful Rotaract year 2022-23.

About 50 students of IV and V PharmD of our Department of Pharmacy Practice volunteered to become the members and 8 office bearers were elected by these members. Many congratulations to Ms. Shivani Vinod, President; Mr. Abhilash, Vice President; Mr. Sai Ahil Palanisamy, Secretary; Ms. Suguna K, Treasurer; Mr. Jeevanantham I, Director Club Services; Mr. Saran K, Director of Community Services; Ms. Smrithi, Director of Professional Development and Ms. Megha Sajith, Director of International Services and all the members of the club.

With the support of the sponsoring club Rotary Nilgiris West this club will undertake various community services during the Rotaract Year 2022-23 and will focus more on the community literacy, green menstruation, e-waste management, organ donation awareness, clean environment and co-hosting the webinars with national and international Rotaract club etc., Rtn. Dr Arun KP, Rotaract Chair, and Rtn. Dr S Ponnusankar, Interact Chair, Ms. Priyadharshini, Faculty Advisors have coordinated the program.
