The Department of Pharmacology at JSS College of Pharmacy in Ooty, organised a live webinar on “OECD: Principle and Good Laboratory Practice, Indian and Global Perspective' on 16th September 2022 by Dr. Bikash Medhi, Professor, Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh. This webinar was conducted through Virtual mode with over 60 participants across the globe. Dr Praveen T K, Professor & Head, Department of Pharmacology served as the convener of the program and Mr. Saravanan J, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Pharmacology co-ordinated the programme. Dr. Bikash Medhi outlined the history and development of GLP, OECD GLP and MAD in the beginning of his talk and then he went on to explain the Principles of OECD GLP, inspection procedures and preparation of GLP inspection reports. His talk was well received by all the delegates.
