The “Professional Excellence” Tea of JSS Dental College & Hospital organised one day Faculty Development Program cum Workshop on “Psychological Skills for Effective Teaching & Learning” on 12th April, 2022 at Sri Gowrishankar Auditorium, JSS Dental College & Hospital, Mysore. The program was inaugurated by Dr Dhakshaini M R,Deputy Director (Authorities) who was the chief guest for the event and by Dr Vishal Kumar Gupta, Deputy Director (Academics) who was the Guest of Honour from JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research. The dignitaries congratulated and wished the program a great success and also expressed the need for more such programs.

The Resource faculties for the Program were, 1) Dr Lancy D’Souza, Professor & Head, Dept of Psychology, Maharaja’s College, University of Mysore. 2) Yogatma Dr. Srihari, Entrepreneur, Yoga Guru, Social Activist, Motivational Speaker, Mentor & Influential Orator. 3) Dr Prashanth S, Deputy Director (Academics), JSS AHER 4) Dr Kishor M, Associate Professor, Dept of Psychiatry, JSS Medical College. 5) Dr Lakshmi Narayana, Assistant Director, State Ayurveda Research Center, KRS Road, Brindavan Extension.

The program was attended by 52 delegates who were faculties from JSS Dental college, JSS Medical college, JSS College of Pharmacy, Ooty, JSS HSMS, JSS FLS & JSS Ayurveda College. The Program was very interactive and the overall feedback from the participants was positive. At the end of the program participation certificates were distributed to the participants. We thank JSS AHER for the continued support and encouragement offered on us and we look forward to have more such programs in future.
