Student Research Cell of JSS Medical College had organized Students Research Fair-2022 for the third consecutive year on 15th and 16th of March 2022. The programme was inaugurated by Dr.Laxme Gowda, Professor, Department of General Medicine, Mysore Medical College and Research Institute, Mysuru. Dr.B.Manjunatha, Registrar, JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research, Dr.H.Basavana Gowdappa, Principal, JSS Medical College, Dr.Suma M.N., Vice Principal, JSS Medical College, Dr.Praveen Kulkarni, Coordinator, Student Research Cell was present on this occasion.

As a part of this event, 123 final year post graduate students from various Departments presented posters out of their dissertation works on 15th of March 2022 at Sri Rajendra Auditorium, JSS Medical College, Mysuru. Out of these, nine posters were adjudged to be the best posters by the experts in respective fields. Dr.Rahul Gupta, from Pathology, Dr.Hamsa Nandhini S, from General Medicine, Dr.Meghna Rai Prasad from Respiratory Medicine, Dr.Rama Charan Potturi from Dermatology, Dr.Nayana Priyavadan Bhortakay from General Surgery, Dr.Deepthi Retnamma Babu from OBG, Dr.Divya Vishwanatha Kini from Radiodiagnosis, Dr.Prashansa Yadav from Ophthalmology and Dr.Thanigai Raja Pandiyan from Anaesthesia Departments were the recipients of Best Poster Awards.

76 post graduate students had applied for best dissertation award competition. Among them top 12 candidates were shortlisted for the final presentation on 16 March 2022 at Board Room, JSS Medical College. Dr.Surender Singh, Vice Chancellor, JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research and Dr.B.J.Subhash Chandra, Professor and Head, Department of General Medicine, JSS Medical College adjudged the presentations by shortlisted candidates. Dr.Keerthi Peri, Dr Reshma Raju from Dept. of Pathology and Dr.Keerthana Srinivas from Dept of Paediatrics received first, second and third prizes in Best Dissertation Award competition. Dr. Vishnu Dakshin from Department of Radiodiagnosis received best publication award.

Dr.B.Manjunatha, Dr.H.Basavana Gowdappa,, Dr.Suma M.N., Sri S.R.Sathish Chandra, Administrative Officer, Dr.Sunil Kumar D, IQAC Coordinator, JSS Medical College distributed the prizes to the award winners. Dr.Praveen Kulkarni, coordinated the event.
