Annual Research extravaganza of JSS Medical College- Student Research Fair - 2021 held between 8th and 10th of March 2021 was a successful event in terms of bringing young researchers across different department in JSS Medical College and showcase their research work. Research Poster presentations were held on 8th and 9th of March for the post graduates in paraclinical, medicine & Allied subjects and Surgery and Allied Subjects respectively. Here 94 students presented their posters out of their dissertations to the expert judges from within and outside the institution. Eight students out of 94 received Best Poster Awards. Manuscript writing workshop on the process of converting the dissertation to publication was held on 10th March 2021. Best Dissertation Award competition was held on 10th March 2021 where top 8 dissertations selected through meticulous review process were presented by the students out of which three dissertations were given awards. Dr Surinder Singh, Honorable Vice Chancellor of JSS Academy of Higher Education and Dr.H.Basavana Gowdappa, Principal, JSS Medical College, judged the Best Dissertation Presentations and Gave away the prizes to the winners. Dr.P.A.Kushalappa, Director Academics, JSS AHER and Dr.M.N.Suma, Vice Principal, JSS Medical College, Heads of Various Departments, Post Graduate Guides, faculty members graced the occasion. Dr.Suma M.N. and Dr.Praveen Kulkarni, Associate Professor, Department of Community Medicine coordinated the event.
