The Department of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology conducted a Workshop on 'Crime Scene' for the participants of the National UG Conference - Asclepius 2019 on 23 August 2019. 57 students had registered to participate in the workshop. The department had organized two crime scenes to ensure hands on training to the participants. The first part contained the basic crime scene. The participants were trained to observe, locate and mark up the important clue materials. They were allowed to prioritize the clue material in context of these being able to identify and link the offender to the crime scene. The last segment was to train in the effective and safe collection of the clue materials.
