As a part of developmental activities department of Pharmaceutics organized one day workshop on PK/PD Modeling Using Phoenix® WinNonlin® during July 02, 2016. Dr. Venkateswari VM was the speaker. The workshop was targeted for post graduate,Ph.D scholars and Pharm D of the institution. About 30 student participants and 08 teaching staffs participated in the event. Principal Dr.SP.Dhanapal presided over the workshop by felicitating the guest with a shawl. Dr.K.Gowthamarajan narrated about the genesis of the workshop. The workshop comprised of Design of a good PK study using the Phoenix®WinNonlin® software,concepts and hands on training on PK modeling(Non compartmental), Bioequivalence, PK Modeling(Compartmental), PD modeling and PK/PD link models. Dr. R.Sureshkumar was the Organising secretary for the workshop. It was also decided to continue with the workshop cum training on the soft ware in coming years.
