Mr. Raghu delivered a guest lecture on 1st August 2019, it has been a meaningful and benefiting informative content for students on preparing and importance of SOP. The program started in afternoon at 3:00 pm. He delivered a lecture on SOP and contents of SOP with an in detail discussion on contents of sop as follow, Purpose, Scope, Responsibility, Definitions, Procedure, Abrevation, Related document, Annexure. He discussed the importance and necessity of the SOP in pharmaceutical industry with giving a reference with various SOP of instruments used in production and quality control department and necessity of the SOP in industry with an explanation on parts of SOP. He also taught procedure of filling SOP and he gave many examples of consequences faced without knowing or unknowingly without following the procedure of SOP. Finally this seminar was helpful for students to prepare and submit a SOP by knowing its importance and role of SOP. This seminar was attended by 30 students of pharmaceutical Quality assurance, Regulatory affairs Department, the lecture was concluded at 4:00 pm, the vote of thanks was given by Dr. Shailesh .T behalf of Department and College.
