The Department of Microbiology, JSS AHER covers a broad range of interdisciplinary academic programs as well as research. The Department of Microbiology, JSS AHER has a well-established library that plays an important role in the academic excellence of students. Our library supports the research and teaching of all the undergraduate and postgraduate programs and provides information resources to faculties and students. The library has adopted an open access system to facilitate readers to have easy access to the library resources.
The library has a circulation counter for textbooks and references books section, new arrivals section, current affairs and awareness services, and a reference section. The library subscribes India’s leading newspapers, magazines, question paper repository, journal section, and dictionaries along with e-journals and e-book for reference purposes. The students also have access to the libraries of constituent colleges for references.
The Department of Microbiology, JSS AHER has separate (girls and boys) hostel with well-furnished rooms with beds, study table, in-house mess facilities and 24-hour security service. The campus has a fitness center and encourages student’s participation in various recreational and extracurricular activities.
