Guidelines for Scientific E-Poster Presentation
These instructions describe the process of creating, submitting and presentation of the electronic poster at the EM-Karnataka 2020 conference.
Under this section Interesting Case reports and Innovations can be submitted for presentation as an E-poster
E-Poster Specifications
- The Scientific Committee will decide based on abstracts submitted whether the delegate will present a Platform presentation or Poster presentation. Preference will be given to research papers/case series for platform presentation
- The Timings and Venue for E-Poster presentation will be updated on the website soon.
- E-Posters will be projected on to a Television Screen. The presenters are allotted 5 minutes to present their posters followed by 3 minutes of discussion time to the judges.
- All the E-Posters should be in PowerPoint format. Slide size 40.97 inches width X 23.04 inches height with 16:9 aspect ratio.
- An extra copy of the E-Poster in .jpg format should be mailed along with the original one in .pptx format.
- All the presentation material should be included within one slide.
- Images should not disclose the identity of the patient.
- A minimum of 30 pts Font Size is Recommended
- Advertisements or images for which the authors do not hold proprietary rights may not be included
- Any sources of funding or potential conflicts of interest should be clearly indicated.
- In the case of Human Subjects Research, posters must include a statement describing the source of ethical review and approval (or exemption).
- Participants are expected to bring their presentations to the competition venue in a pen drive of their own.
- Last date for submission is December 31st 2019. Earlier submissions will get priority for selection.
- Abstract submission email: emk2020competitions@gmail.com to be sent in word format by 31st December 2019. Final E-Poster in the format described earlier to be sent in PPT format by 12th January 2020
- Accepted Abstracts will be included in the EMK-2020 Magazine.
