Addressing pain forms a significant part of every emergency physician’s routine schedule.
Being one of the most common presentations, pain management in the ED has always been a subject of controversy due to the wide variety of options at our disposal. Hence it is the responsibility of the emergency physician to practice stewardship when it comes to administering appropriate treatment.
With this thought process in mind we would like to embark on a day’s voyage intended to develop a theoretical and practical approach to pain management. By amalgamating anatomy with ultrasonography we extend this opportunity to have a real-time experience with several hands-on sessions on live models and cadaver. We aim to extend your knowledge in relation to a myriad of peripheral nerve block techniques and develop the skill of establishing a painless ED.
We look forward to your presence on the 16th of January 2020 at JSS Medical College and Hospital.
This workshop is aimed at Junior and Senior Residents, Faculty and Consultants.
