A CDE (Continuing Dental Education) program was organized by Department of Oral Maxillofacial Surgery on the topic “Oral Cancer Update” on 29th April 2019 at Sri Gowrishankara Auditorium. The CDE was inaugurated by the chief guest Dr. B Manjunatha, Registrar, JSSAHER along with Principal, HOD and the Speakers. This CDE was a collaborative effort between JSS Dental College and Yenepoya (Deemed to be) University. A group of 5 speakers involved in Oral Cancer management came from Yenepoya (Deemed to be) University and delivered informative lectures. A total of 6 lectures were delivered. We had 116 registrations including faculty, with 86 students and postgraduates of JSS Dental College along with few private practitioners from Mysuru, faculty and postgraduates of Farooqia Dental College. All the registrants had a very informative scientific session and gave good feedback regarding the same.
