An invited talk on Blue Zones and JSS Panchamantra for Longevity was held at Orchids Public School, Bogadi road, Kumarabeedu, Mysuru on August 7th, 2024, from 10 am to 1 pm. Approximately 200 high school and PU students, along with their teachers, attended the interactive session featuring Dr. Anil S. Bilimale, who discussed Blue Zones and the JSS Panchamantra for longevity. Following the talk, students participated in fun and engaging activities centered on the five Panchamantra domains: physical activity, diet, rest/sleep, balanced mental health, and socialization. These activities, organized by students and faculties Dr.Divya KL and Ms. Sheeba. B from the School of Public Health, JSS Medical College, and JSS AHER, included quizzes on diet and rest/sleep, stretching exercises, stress management techniques, meditation, and mindfulness practices. The students were energetic and participated enthusiastically in all the activities and demonstrations.
