On account of World Population day, an awareness session was organized by MPH students from School of Public Health at Urban Health Centre, Bannimantap on July 9th. The theme for Population day-2024 is Interwoven Lives, Threads of hope: Ending Inequalites in sexual and reproductive health and rights. The students gave an overview of world population day, impacts of rising population, family planning and contraceptive methods in the awareness session. Around 30 participants from the nearby area attended the session. An information booth was set up by the students for the community to approach and clear any queries regarding the same.
