The International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, observed annually on June 26, aims to raise awareness about the major problems that illicit drugs represent to society. It promotes action and cooperation towards achieving a drug-free world. Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan (NMBA) is a campaign launched by the Government of India with the goal of eradicating drug abuse across the country. This initiative seeks to educate and mobilize young communities to prevent and address substance abuse issues.
