National Youth Day representing the birth anniversary of Swamy Vivekananda was organized by the Institution Innovation Council (IIC), JSS Dental College & Hospital, and JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research on 12th January 2023. The program focused on engaging the youth in the upliftment of our society by providing them with a platform to showcase their talents in socio-cultural aspects of life. The theme of the program was “Partnering with Youth for Better World”. The program was inaugurated by Dr. Dhakshaini M R, Principal, JSSDCH and Deputy Director (Authorities), JSS AHER, and IIC members. Various competitions like Elocution on the topic Youth – The Social Reformers of Oral Health” and “Socialization Vs Social Media and Essay Writing on “What influences Character more? Heritage or Surroundings” and “Most Important Scientific breakthrough of 21 st Century so far” were conducted for Students. Students of the institution participated enthusiastically in the program. The program was coordinated by Dr. Brinda S Godhi, Asso. Prof and Dr. Seema Deshmukh, Asso. Prof, JSS Dental College & Hospital and Student members Ms. S R Neha, Mr. P Raghu Pavan.
