Masterclass 2021: A Practical Approach was organised by the Karnataka State Branch of IPS, and the very first that was jointly organised by the JSS Dental College and Hospital, constituent college of JSSAHER Mysuru. The uniqueness of this masterclass laid in the fact that it worked towards strengthening the practical knowledge and comprehensive skillset of the students for their final Prosthodontic degree master examination.

The programme took place for duration of 2 days, i.e. 16th-17th March 2021, with the platform chosen being, the very popular, virtual video telephony software, Zoom, keeping in consideration, the current scenario of the global Covid19 pandemic. The planning for a programme of this large scale had been started weeks ago, with constant emails and calls exchanged between the organising committee, the speakers and the other panellists. There was a total of 12 KSDC credit points that were granted to the attendees of the event. After the final decision on time, schedule and choice of speakers and topics had been taken, there was no looking back. The advertising flyer had been circulated in all the relevant circles of Whatsapp groups, KPS Facebook page and through personal profiles which bore a huge favourable result.
