* Dr Vanitha Reddy P, is Assistant Professor and Coordinator for the Departmetn of Nutrition & Dietetics. Faculty of Life Sciences, JSS AHER. She pursued her Masters and Ph D (Food, Science & Nutrition) from University of Mysore, Mysore and awarded in the year 2015. She has 11 years of teaching and research experitence. She worked as Principal Investigator, DST -(WOS B) Project from 2007-09. She has worked under DST, IOE from at Dept. of Food, Science & Nutrition, University of Mysore. She has worked as Project Assistant at CFTRI, Mysore. She has worked as guest faculty at Dept. of Food, Science & Nutrition, University of Mysore and St Phelomena's college Mysore. She has 32 published papers in various national and international peer revied journals and presented more then 60 abtracts in various conferences. 1 students are pursuing Ph D under her guidance. She has guided around 40 students for their dissertation work. She is awarded with 6 best paper awards. Her research is based on antioxidants, oxidative stress, cholesterol metabolism, nutraceuticals, functional foods, public health nutriiton. She has passion for teaching and flourishing the department of Nutriiton & Dietetics into School of Nutriiton. She is the Secretary for the Indian Dietetic Asscoiation, Mysore chapter.
