The Department of Water & Health was established in the year 2013 with the blessings of His Holiness Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Mahaswamiji, Chancellor, JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research, Mysuru. The Department of Water & Health - Faculty of Life Sciences is enunciated in the JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research's Strategic Planning Framework. It has a vision and a mission of achieving national and international distinction while strengthening local relevance.
