Dr. Vivek Anand Ojha, Postgraduate student, Department of Biochemistry, JSS Medical College was awarded the young scientist travel award of 1500 SGD in the 15th Asia Pacific Federation of Clinical Biochemistry Congress held between 17th-20th November 2019 at Jaipur, Rajasthan for his research paper entitled “Protective single nucleotide polymorphism In smokers with and without Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease”. The project was carried out with partial funds received from Clinical Development Service Agency and JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research.
