In view of KANNADA RAJYOTSAVA the literary hub of JSS Dental college and hospital #SAAHITYA organized and hosted ‘KANNADA PUSTAKA PARICHAYA’. On 24-11-2023 at Gowrishankara Auditorium this event , Kannada books were presented and pondered upon. Dr. Indira started the event symbolically by singing “Haccevu kannadada deepa” The books were presented by, Dr.Kishore from the department of psychiatry who spoke on” Kannadada Khaifiyattugalu”, Dr. Prasanna Kumar from department of biochemistry spoke on “sidda maadarigalaache” , Mr. Vijay Hemmige, secretary to VC presented, “Namma oorina rasikaru”, Dr. Girish from the department of Pedodontia presented “Bicchida jolige”. Dr. Savitri from the department of conservative dentistry spoke on “Sarvagnana vachanagalu”, Dr. Mellita intern presented “oliver twist”. The participants and listeners enthusiastically participated in discussions related to kannada literature. Dr. Kishore and Dr.Indira also donated a book each to our #Saahitya book treasury. Inturn, JSSDCH college magazine PRATIBIMBA was given to JSS Medical College Book Club. The event was chaired and co ordinate by dr. Sunitha. S from the department of public health dentistry and Dr. Shreeshyla from department of oral pathology.
