JSS College of Pharmacy, Ooty , a constituent college of JSSAHER joined hands with the district administration in the war against Coronavirus pandemic by manufacturing hand sanitizers with their expertise and capabilities. The District Collector directed the Govt. Hospital, Ooty to manufacture the hand rub sanitizer with the help of facilities and expertise of JSS College of Pharmacy, Ooty to meet the local needs.

The Department of Pharm. Biotechnology, JSS CP Ooty is preparing the sanitizer as per their current requirement of 50 L batches everyday for next one week followed by 90 L per month for next three months. These sanitizers are tested as per the recommended guidelines and only then delivered.
