Dental Education Unit (DEU), Centre for continuous learning for professional excellence(CCPLE) was inaugurated on 12 May 2017 at JSS Dental College & Hospital, Jagadguru Sri Shivarathreeswara University. The inaugural ceremony was presided bythe chief guest Dr.ManjunathaB, Registrar, JSS University along with Dr. PrashanthVishwanth, Convener, CCPLEas the guest of honor. Dr. Anil Kumar Gujjari, Principal, Dr. Dakshaini M.R, Vice Principal, and Dr. Sunila B Sangappa, Convener DEU, JSSDCH graced the occasion. Dr.Manjunatha B, RegistrarJSS University expressed the need, “to unlearn to learn” to become competent educators. The dignitaries also opined of having DEU at every dental institution, as a platform for nurturing teaching skills for health professionals.
