“Aspiration 2019” a Inter-Collegiate National Level Cultural Competitions, organized by PES College of Pharmacy, Bengaluru. Aspiration is an annual cultural competition for students of Pharmacy colleges in Karnataka. It was held at PES University Auditorium, Bengaluru on 23rd and 24th February, 2019 (2 day event). In the foresaid event, 18 colleges participated for 13 (thirteen) cultural events; Solo dance, group dance, group song, street play, Quiz etc., 40 Students of JSS College of Pharmacy, Mysuru had participated in Aspiration 2019, they competed for 12 cultural events (except for solo song). Students of various class/ course showed interest in the cultural event. Our students had previously participated in Aspiration events; and they have won “Overall Championship Trophy” for 6 times during the period 2008-2018 and Runner-up during 2017. This year our college students won 1 (One) first prize, 2 (Two) Second prizes and 2 (Two) Third prize among the 12 (thirteen) events they participated; further, the “2nd runnerup” was bagged by our College students. Our college students had performed to their ability in the short notice of time and held the name of the college and university high in the competitions. The students were accompanied by Dr. Gourav M P and Mrs. Preethi, Lecturers of the college. “Aspiration 2019” was an event which gave experience of competing against students of other pharmacy colleges in Karnataka. We the cultural coordinators (faculty) and students of JSS College of Pharmacy, Mysuru thank Principal, Administrative Officer of the college and JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research, Mysuru for their support and encouragement extended for participation of students in cultural events.
