Dr. Nirmal Robinson earned his Bachelors and Masters degrees from JSS College of Pharmacy, Ooty in 1997 and 1999 respectively. He then pursued a career in science and received his PhD from the University of Bonn, Germany followed with his postdoctoral training at Institute for Biological Sciences, National Research Council of Canada, Ottawa. He then started his own lab at the CECAD Research Centre, University of Cologne in 2012. His research interests lie in understanding the molecular cross-talk between metabolism and immunity. Since the beginning of 2018 he is leading the inflammation and human ailments laboratory at the Centre for Cancer Biology, University of South Australia.
