The Institutional Pharmaceutical Society (IPS) is a group represented by the students of the institution who coordinate all the extracurricular and co-curricular activities conducted within and outside the institution during the academic year. The IPS comprises of the President (Principal), Vice-president, General Secretary, Joint Secretary, Cultural Secretary, Joint Cultural Secretary, Sports Secretary, Joint Sports Secretary, Magazine Secretary Joint Magazine Secretary, Literary Secretary and Joint Literary Secretary total of 12 members. The new office bearers of IPS for academic year 2018-19 were selected according to the merit and laid down procedure. After the inaugural ceremony the members of the society holds the office of the society. The inauguration of the IPS 2018-19 was held on 20th July 2018 at 2:00 PM at Rajendra Auditorium, JSS College of Pharmacy, Mysuru. Dr. T M Pramod Kumar, Principal, President IPS presided over the function. All the faculty members and the students attended the function. This program begin with the Invocation song by Ms. Sneha & group and the members of the society were welcomed by IPS coordinator Dr. Anand Kumar Tengli. Rejimon (Joint Secretary), Ms. Surabhi C (Cultural Secretary), Mr. Shreya R. (Joint Cultural Secretary), Ms. Tejasswini R (Magazine Secretary), Ms., N. Meghana (Joint Magazine Secretary), Mr. Nadish CH. (Sports Secretary), Mr. Prasad V. Rao (Joint Sports Secretary), Ms. R. Sukeerthi (Literary Secretary), Mr. Derick Mathew (Joint Literary Secretary) were present and inaugurated by lighting the lamp. The members of the IPS Mr. Muhammed Bishir, Mr. Naveen Datt, Ms., N. Meghana, Ms. Surabhi C., Mr. Prasad V. Rao, were shared his views and plans for the year ahead and thanked Principal, Administrative officer, Interview committee and coordinator for selecting them as IPS members. Dr. T M Pramod Kumar, Principal, IPS president wished all the success to the new team and urged all the students to come out with new ideas and actively involve in organizing the co-curricular and extracurricular activities for the academic year 2018-19. Mr. Patric M. Rejimon (Joint Secretary) proposed the vote of thanks. After completion of inauguration of IPS, the members of the society organized the fresher’s day celebration with the theme called NOVATO FIESTA- 2K18. The celebration begin with the drama by Allwin & team, various events were conducted for the fresher’s like, Talent show, solo dance, random segment, group dance, games (paper dance & pass the ring) and special performance etc., more than 30 fresher’s from D. Pharm, B. Pharm, Pharm D. and M. Pharm course were participated.
