Dr. Nirmal has a credit of publishing in highly reputed journal ie “Nature Lancet”, keeping this in the backdrop the audience raised many queries and Dr. Nirmal was unveiling the quality of work which has to be carried out to publish in such journals. He clearly mentioned in his talk that there must be novelty in the work we do to crack the high impact journals. And the concept of Novelty should be proved by many ways and through many mechanisms. He also said patience and smart work is a key factor for success in science. He expressed that the credit of his achievements is shared to his team members also as they play a vital role in executing the plans. He also advised not to plan for any ambitious projects for Post graduates due to time constraints. They have to be trained to interact with people and keep open mind to learn the different aspects of science. Totally it was an interactive and motivative session and was very well taken by the audience.
