Dr. Manas Mandal initiated the session with an introduction to immunology. Later he dwelled upon the concepts immunology with emphasis on T-cell activation and vaccination. The liposome formulation of the vaccines was of core importance during the lecture wherein the approaches for enhancement of the efficacy of the formulation were dwelt. The guest lecture was witnessed by faculty members, Research Scholars and M Pharm students from various departments and the session was conducted and benefited for more than 35 participants. The session was commenced by Dr. DV Gowda, Professor & Head, Department of Pharmaceutics, JSS College of Pharmacy, JSS AHER, Mysuru by welcoming and introducing the speaker Dr. Manas Mandal.
