The Faculty of Life Sciences was established in the year 2013 with the blessings of His Holiness Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Mahaswamiji, Chancellor, JSS University, Mysore.
Admissions
Faculty of Life Sciences offers the following comprehensive B.Sc. and M.Sc. programs with Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) pattern which allows for greater flexibility for the students to enhance their learning experience in the program. Admissions are open for Ph.D program in all Subjects.
Research
The prospect of research in Life Sciences accelerates the nation’s growth. The FLS has cohort of researchers with extensive overseas research experience. Our research activities center around understanding biomolecules of life, biochemical & regulating process, nature of diseases, analyze complex biological systems and decipher the intricate network in pathological & neurological conditions using system biology approaches.
